  • All Reset
    Pull M out. Hold A,B and C down simultaneously for 3 seconds then release them. All digital segments will be highlighted.
    Press and release B, digital display will show zero's and upper display will show "F_H" (function hand)
    Use A to align function hand to "60"
    Press and release B, upper digital display will show "HR" (hours)
    Hold A down to align regular hour and minute hands to 12 o'clock position and 24 hour hand to 2400 hours. All three hands will move simultaneously.
    Press and release B, upper digital display will show "SEC" (seconds).
    Hold A down to align second hand to 12 o'clock position.
    Press M to finalize zero positioning. Watch will beep, confirming all reset and zero positioning.
  • Using Race Timers 1 & 2
    Race Timer 1 (R-1) has an auto-repeat function and will repeat a countdown from a set time, automatically for 3 times the stop.
    Race Timer 2 (R-2) has an auto-chronograph function and will automatically switch to a stopwatch mode, registering accumulated time after finishing the countdown.
    Setting procedure is the same for both R-1 and R-2 timers can be set from 60 minutes down to 10 minutes in 5 minute increments and then ad 6,5,3 and 1 minute.
    To set R-1 or R-2 timers, press mode button to move to R-1 or R-2. Pull mode button out, minutes will flash. Use C button to set minutes to desired time. Push mode button in to finalize setting.
    Push A button to start or stop countdown and C button to reset to timer set time. If C button is pushed during countdown, timer will "fly-back" to set time and start the countdown again.
    Timer sound signals are the same for R-1 and R-2. During the countdown, there are sound signals every minute, starting at 10 minutes down to 1 minute, for each 10 seconds down to 10 and then every second from 5 to time up. At time up, sound signals for 5 seconds.
  • Setting the Time
    Press and hold B button down for 3 seconds, hour and minute hands will retract to the 12 o'clock position. This will permit an unobstructed view of the digital displays during setting procedures.
    Press and release M button to move mode indicator hand to "TME" (time) then set city code to one representing your time zone.
    Press and release A button to change city code eastward and C button to move westward.
    When city code has been selected, pull M button out. Hour, minute and second figures will all flash.
    Press and release C button to select daylight or standard time (summer indicates daylight). The time will change accordingly.
    Press and release A button, seconds will blink. Reset seconds by using C button.
    Press and release A button, minutes will blink. Use C button to advance minutes, For fast advance, hold C button down.
    Press and release A button, Hours will blink. Use C button to advance hours. Note a.m. or p.m.
    Press and release A button, 12H or 24H will blink. Use C button to select a.m. / p.m. time (12H) or military time (24H).
    Press M button to finalize setting of digital time. (Hour retractor is released and hour and minute hands move to indicate UTC time.) All other cities are adjusted automatically when one city is set to correct time, including the UTC digital display time.
    After you have set digital time and release the retractor, if you want analog (hands) time to indicate the time in your zone (city code), press buttons A and C simultaneously. The digital time (your time zone) will be switched to the analog display and vice versa. City code and digital time can now be changed to your time zone by using A button (eastward) or B button (westward). Both analog and digital time now match.
    If you want a time zone different than that shown on the digital display, to be shown by the analog (hands), move the digital time to the desired zone and repeat the switching function.
  • Setting the Calendar
    Using the M button, move the mode indicator hand to CAL. Note city code. If needed, use A button to move city code eastward and C button to move westward.
    Pull M button out to setting position, month number will flash. Correct month by using C button.
    Press and release A button, date will flash. Correct date by using C button
    Press and release A button, day will flash. Use C button to correct day.
    Press and release A button, year will flash. Use C button to correct year.
    Press M button in to finalize calendar setting.
  • Using the Chronograph
    Use M button to move mode indicator to CHR
    Press and release A button to start or stop time measurement
    While chronograph is running, press C button for split time. Display now shows elapsed time for 10 seconds while continuing to measure elapsed time internally. After 10 seconds, display picks up counting at the true elapsed time and continues running until C button is pressed for split time again or A button is pressed to stop.
    After chronograph is stopped, press C button to reset to zero.
  • To Set Alarms
    Use the M button to move the mode indicator to AL-1. Use A or C button to select the city code
    Pull mode button out to setting position, display blinks. Use C button to set alarm on or off.
    Press and release A button, hours will blink. Correct hours with C button.
    Press and release A button, minutes will blink. Correct minutes with C button.
    Press M button in to finalize alarm setting.
    Alarm 2 is set in the same way as Alarm 1. When alarms sound, press any button to stop sounding.
