Insurance only costs $1.00 for $40.00 in coverage and this covers the item for shipping damage only. You may prefer not to insure your item and then shipping problems become your responsibility. We do however ship by the United States Postal Service and we include tracking confirmation on all packages that we can. We feel this is a safe way to ship.
